Is Self-knowledge the best kind of knowledge? But firstly, what is self-knowledge? Self-knowledge is about knowing yourself, knowing about your weaknesses and also knowing what is best for you. To me, Self-knowledge is a very important type of knowledge. I feel that it is very essential to succeed in life, but there are also other types of knowledge that are also essential. Therefore, I say that self-knowledge is not the best kind of knowledge, but it is also not the least important knowledge. Other types of knowledge are equally important as self-knowledge.

Firstly, self-knowledge is essential in life. With self knowledge, you will know what to do and will make the right decisions. Understanding yourself allows us to do so and it is very essential in life. In life, problems are always inevitable and we are bound to face problems. The only way to overcome these problems is to make the right decisions and the only way to make the right decisions is to know what is better for you. Without knowing what is best for yourself, wrong decisions will be made and it will be difficult to succeed in life. For example, when you know you have a very short attention span, you should not be doing something for a long period of time. People who have self-knowledge and know about themselves would take regular breaks in between , to acheive a better end product.

Secondly, another type of knowledge that I feel that is also quite important is intellectual knowledge. To have intellectual knowledge is to have knowledge about the things surrounding you and knowing how things work. Which means to say that intellectual knowledge is being intelligent and clever. It is important in life, because in order to acheive something, you will need to know and have knowledge about what you are doing. If a person does something that he does not know about, he will just get into trouble and nothing will be accomplished. Knowing things around you definitely helps you and gives you and advantage over others. Thus, intellectual knowledge is important.

Lastly, there is also another knowledge that I feel which is important and that is social knowledge. Social knowledge is knowing how to communicate with people, involving a lot of social and interaction skills. A person can never succeed on his own, help from other people is definitely needed. Therefore, being able to interact well is important. Being able to communicate with other people may cause other people to backstab you, thus affecting you. A person who treats people badly will never because no one will be there to help him in times of need.Thus, social knowledge is essential.

I personaly feel that all three types of knowledge are equally important. A person needs to have all three types of knowledge to acheive something in life and not having any one of them may cause a person's downfall.

today i am going to do my english speech assignment. It is about discipline masters not having the rights to cut people's hair and why students should be allowed to have own style of hair.

i feel that discipline masters should not be given rights to cut people's hair at all. it is because i feel that as long as a student's hair is quite reasonable and not too long, it should be alright. discipline masters sometimes abuse their authority and even cut people's hair even if our hair is slightly inappropriate. what is worse is that the discipline master gives a student an ugly haircut by cutting only one side if he does not meet requirements. this makes the student totally embarrased and unable to concentrate on his studies which will affect the child's grades and gradually the school as well. the hair is important to us students as students these days are care alot on how they present themselves. the school does not know how important this is and how deeply it can affect us. the discipline master in our school is going too overboard. he is even trying to control the type of hair that we should have. he demands every student to cut slope and i find it very unnescesary. i feel that with so many requirements to meet such as keeping the fringe above the eyebrow and not having sideburns. students waste alot of precious time worrying about their hair which could be used to do other constructive stuff. i feel that everyone is unique in their own way and everyone should be given a chance to present themselves the way they like it as long as it is not inappropriate. the discipline master should not cut students' hair even if it is inappropriate because i feel that it violates our human rights. i feel that the discipline master should not take away what is ours without our permission especially if he is going to make our hair look uglier and even more inappropriate for school. it just makes us look even more untidy as students have hair which is long on one side and short in the other. it is abit ironic i feel that is it is jus like stealing and as a christian school, there is alot of emphasis on holiness. i feel that the discipline master should practice what he preaches. so therefore i hope that the discipline master should not be given the right to cut people's hair and the hairstyle of a student should not be controlled. it is because a school should be a happy place for students to study in and it is our second home. so therefore students should not be made worrying about their hair being cut.

ok today's post is abt my thoughts n reactions on a movie dat mr tan showed us called
" Green Mile "
Basically dis movie is abt innocent pple dyin!!
ZZzz.
It shows how unfair life is n it is wad the world is today.
people r gettin killed innocently.
it is veri realistic n therefore i feel dat it is a show dat we can learn frm.
the pple i really really hate most is percy la. lol
hu doesn't. haha,
n the innocent person i am talkin abt hu gt killed in the end was john coffey.
yup poor guy.
i cant believe he was willin to die cos if it was mi,
i wud rather try escapin frm jail than to die for smth i did nt do.
he shud nt hav died n everybody noes dat.
bcos he was framed.
n i noe hw it feels lyk to get blamed for smth i did nt do
n i hav to pay for the consequences.
bt smtimes life is unfair
n pple get away wif wad they have done.
i feel that the death penalty shud nt b used to punish anyone.
It is bcos most of the time pple repent n i feel dat life shud b lyk this.
U make a mistake n u learn frm it.
everone makes mistakes bt i feel dat it is alright if u r willin to change for the better.
most importantly no one has the rights to take away another person's life

pple lyk wild billy r people hu r supposed to get killed bcos he has no intention to change at all,
n most importantly he framed john coffey n caused his death.
john had great gift.
if it was nt for wild billy, he could have saved more lifes n do more.
It is such a waste to let someone lyk dat to die.
he had a great gift n he did nt abuse his power which is smth i respect bcos nt mani pple cn do dat.
pple lyk percy hu noes important pple does nt noe hw to use it to help pple,

bcos everytime i hear a chinese song, i dun understand wth the singer is tryin to sae.
take the song my chinese teacher showed to us in class last week for example.
it was sung by lin jun jie
the song was cao cao.
even wif the lyrics shown on the visualiser,
i still could not understand anything at all.
arggh!!!
dats the reason y i hate chinese songs.
Basically i lyk almost all types of english songs.
and i really mean
even heavy gear or jazz.
as long as it is english music i dun mind

bcos it is a really high song although the words are not high
bt the melody is really really very nice

school was really boring this week
